Charges for Physical Therapy
Traditional physical therapy services are billed in fifteen-minute increments called units. Since some clients of Phileo Health will be submitting receipts to their insurance companies and/or health savings accounts for partial reimbursement as an out-of-network provider, that system is maintained in our fee structure, with minor adjustments for time0related incentives. All visits are 30 minutes minimum., with 45-60 minute sessions preferred to allow adequate time for comprehensive care. That said, we will not stretch out sessions or bouts of treatment longer than they need to be, as we strongly value effective, efficient care.
PT Services: Charged when patients come in for physical therapy for specific problems, diagnoses, etc.
PT Evaluation (untimed unit) -- $75*
Manual Therapy (per 15 min unit) -- $25
Therapeutic Exercise (per 15 min unit) -- $25
Neuro-muscular Re-education (per 15 min unit) -- $25
Functional dry needling (per 15 min unit) -- $25
Therapeutic Massage (per 15 min unit) -- $25
Running Gait Analysis (per 15 min unit) -- $25
Trip Charge (home visits available by special request) -- $25
60 minute visits are preferred, with a discount available
60 min PT discount = $5 off
30 minute visits incur an up-charge of $10
Typical PT visit costs:
$95/ 60-minute visit (best value)
$75/ 45-minute visit
$60/ 30-minute visit
* Initial PT visits always include an evaluation, which is most often 30-45 minutes in duration. Typically, we like to initiate some type of treatment at the first session. An initial consultation typically runs 60 minutes, so a good rule of thumb is to plan on $95 for the first session. If we go over an hour and 5 minutes, the total cost will likely be $120, at the discretion of the therapist. If you are traveling from a long distance and would like an extended appointment, please call your therapist to discuss and get an estimate of the cost.
