Charges for Physical Therapy
Traditional physical therapy services are billed in fifteen-minute increments called units. At Phileo Health Network, our clinical fees are based on the total duration of time you are being seen. For clients who will be submitting receipts to their insurance companies and/or health savings accounts for partial reimbursement as an out-of-network provider, please note that your receipt will show the number of "units," while the overall cost will be based on the time-structure outlined below.
All visits are 30 minutes minimum, with 45-60 minute sessions preferred to allow adequate time for comprehensive care. That said, we will not stretch out sessions or bouts of treatment longer than they need to be, as we strongly value effective, efficient care.
PT Services: Charged when patients come in for physical therapy for specific problems, diagnoses, etc.
PT Evaluation (60-minute session) -- $120
60-minute follow-up PT session -- $105
45-minute follow-up PT session -- $85
30-minute follow-up PT session -- $65
Physical Therapy Treatments Include:
Manual Therapy
Therapeutic Exercise
Neuro-muscular Re-education
Functional Dry Needling
Running Gait Analysis
Trip Charge (home visits available by special request) -- additional $25
* Initial PT visits always include an evaluation to establish the best course of treatment. Typically, we like to initiate some type of treatment at the first session as well. An initial consultation typically runs 60 minutes, so plan on $120 for the first session. If we go over an hour and 10 minutes, the total cost may be $20-30 higher based on complexity and the discretion of the therapist. If you are traveling from a long distance and would like an extended appointment, please call your therapist to discuss and get an estimate of the cost.
